Terribly worried about organic food being infected from Spain and Netherlands. I have always cleaned thoroughly either with a couple of drops of Lugols solution or a couple of sprays of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide. Is this sufficient in your view or do you have another method I can take on board.

Hi Jean, have been away so only just become aware of this issue. Have no solutions really, am washing with lugols myself, I guess the only really safe thing is to stop eating produce from Spain! The sceptic in me wonders if it is really true or is it all a plot to stop us eating cucumbers…?
